At the TU Delft campus, Geothermie Delft (GTD) has started a new phase of the project: construction of the heat pump building – a key step in using geothermal energy as a sustainable heat source.

For this unique project, Leemberg Piping and Equipment Construction supplies all piping and associated equipment. A job where engineering, sustainability and innovation come together – exactly where Leemberg is at its best.

The system extracts hot water from deep underground, down to 2,500 metres. Through a closed circuit, this heat is captured and distributed via the Open Warmtenet Delft, sustainably heating buildings and homes on and around the campus.

It’s a special project where science and real-world practice are literally connected. And Leemberg, as technical partner, secures the quality and reliability needed to make this energy transition work.

Leemberg. Technology that keeps working. For today and for the future.

Building the future of energy demands technology that holds up.
