A global process technology company, specialised in designing and delivering complete process modules and flare systems for the oil and gas industry, needed three new glycol regeneration units in skid execution. The company was looking for a partner to take on the full build, assembly and testing of these skids.
The three skids were destined for installation on existing drilling platforms. That requires compact, robust units that fit first time, mechanically, in layout and in all connection points.
The entire scope had to be executed within Leemberg’s facilities: from steel construction and equipment positioning to prefabrication and installation of all pipework, coating, NDT and pressure testing, all with full QA/QC traceability and documentation.
Leemberg built all three glycol regeneration skids completely in-house. Materials were supplied, equipment installed, steel structures and piping assembled, coated, tested (including NDT and pressure testing) and handed over with full documentation.
The client could then ship the skids to the drilling platforms as true plug and play modules, with the certainty that mechanics, piping and quality were under control from start to finish.
